Postdoc research associate in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health of the University of Manchester in the United Kindom. My research investigates the inflammatory–vascular mechanisms underlying aspirin non-response in preeclampsia and their implications for maternal cardiovascular health.
Before the postdoc, I received my PhD degree at the department of Biology, Medicine and Health at University of Manchester, supervised by Prof. Alexander E. P. Heazell (main supervisor), Dr. Lynda K. Harris, and Dr. Karen Forbes. My PhD work was to explore the underlying mechanism of Estrogen related receptor gamma (ESRRG) signalling pathways on the fetuses complicated by fetal growth restriction (FGR) and also explore the potential theraputic targets for these foetuses. Please check my PhD thesis "The Signalling Pathways of Oestrogen-Related Receptor Gamma (ESRRG) in Human Placentas".
I received my Master's degrees at the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and in China, supervised by Prof.Yanmin Luo.
